I was just wondering if there actually were any members here with an 09 TSX, seems like this forum is just full of reviews... Id love to hear from someone who actually purchased one.

There's a handful of people that posted in other areas saying they had purchased an 09 TSX. Most of them with the Tech pkg. White, silver, black... They are around here, just haven't posted much.

I have just purchased an 09 Navi with manual, Grigio Metallic with black interior. I will let you know how it is. I will be getting it on July 23, 2008 and will report back. It will mainly be my wife's vehicle, however you can be sure I will drive it every chance I get.
BTW, if anyone else here has one, or is thinking of getting one, what did you cross shop it with. I, being a Honda fan, looked at the Accord. I would have liked to go for same but my wife preferred the TSX. We tried the Accord V6 manual (coupe), and it was plenty fast, however we preferred the I4 engine, withthe manual. We actually took a TSX to the Honda dealer and compared them side by side with the Accord. Not so strange, they have many of the same bit's, such as tires, interior, but the Accord is noticebly larger, with much more interior room, but the TSX just feels nicer. That said, is it $5000 nicer than the Accord. I do not think so, but my wife does. I think we have been spoiled with the Acura vehicles as they are just a little nicer, with some options you can't get with the Honda, such as the back-up camera, memory seats, Homelink (unless you get the Accord V6 top of the line), tilt right mirror when backing, beefy steering wheel, Nicer stereo system, etc.

I bought one. Black on black with the sport kit and decklid spoiler, but I got the premium one (w/o navi since I don't really need it). I take delivery of mine July 10th.

Yeah I'm looking forward to what becomes available for this car. The new bumpers have some different contours to them so I didn't know how good a lip kit would really look, esspecially on the front. That's why I opted to just get the sport kit Acura has available. It's a little pricey even though I'm getting a discount on it from the dealer (still paying $2000). I can't wait for Mugen to release a new grill though, the stock grill is the only thing I'm not a big fan of.
I'm getting these for it in a couple months:

Nice write up and it is interesting to see some of the differences from the North American cars to the Europeon cars. For example, the centre stack hazard butten is red, the premium package in this review has cloth seats, wherein we get only leather, and oh yeah, THE STEERING WHEEL HAS A BIG H AND IS ON THE WRONG SIDE.

It's funny, my first impressions of the TSX was, great rear end, but do not care for the front. I now like the entire car, even though I have not seen many, that is, I think I have only seen one at the dealer.

I had a 09 TSX behind me in the drive thru at McDonald's yesterday and i thought it was a Saturn. I hate the front end so much but the rear is so nice. That grille needs to go and the front needs to square up a little more. I like how the 04-08 TSX's lines in the front converge to the center while giving an a smooth agressive balanced look. the sec gen look awkqard and unnatural in the fron and somewhat on the sides. But when looked at from the rear, it looks like a sweet ride. Almost like a BMW.

I think the sport kit helps a lot with this.

Cheers for the words.
The CU2 I have is a base model. We get most of the goodies standard, like your premium stereo!
It is not a European car by the way.... Australian.
You guys get a damn nice TSX! But same price as IS250 and the likes?
IS250 is twice the price of my base model CU2!

Yeah, I know you are from Australia, but we in North America call the TSX the Europeon Accord. BTW, my Brother-In-Law is Australian. Love his accent. Of course to him, we have the accent.

actually, my FC doesnt have any kit or anything fancy. it was my first car and fist rotary from when i was 16 ( i am 24 now ) it does push about 350 wheels with enkei RP-F1
my 94 FD only got the 99 spec lip, front headlight conversion and 99 spec taillights with volk RE30, and about 450 wheels on 91 octane.
i take both of my cars on the track only. they've only got one seat in it and full cage.

I have had mine for 3 weeks now. The car is fun to drive. Traded an 03 Accord (V6) and was concerned about the power difference. This 4 banger puts out plenty of power. Gave up some back seat space, and I am not too crazy about the putting premuim fuel in the tank (use mid-grade from time to time). The biggest surprise was the mileage. Getting 30+ in mixed driving.

We also traded an '03 Accord EX with a V6 for ours. Like you mentioned, plenty of power, but was shocked to find that it needed premium. Odd that the salesman didn't mention it. We haven't run a tank of gas through it, yet, but it's displaying 24 MPG for the first 100 miles with a lot of idling.

I have been using mid-grade since I bought it. (My salesman actually recomended it as he also has a TSX.) No problems! Mileage has been better than expected and I have not detected any performance issues.
2009 Pearl White on tan, 6spd, premium pkg with trunk lid lip spoiler- Wifes car.
2009 Polished Metal Metallic on black, 6spd, Tech pkg, Aero kit (with trunk lid lip spoiler, not the "wing" spoiler) - My car.
The bad. Wifes car is making a sound like it has a turbo. Acura replaced the oil pump but that didn't fix the problem. It goes back in on Tuesday and if they can't diagnose and fix the problem, the service manager said they will replace the engine. Other then that, no problems. She loves the car.
First impressions from me are that the car is very good at doing everything it does. It's not a go fast car but has enough balls to make it fun above 4000 rpm. 200 lb-ft or torque would have been nice but maybe there's a Type-S or A-Spec in the 2nd Gens life cycle that will address that issue. We hope.
Handling is what I would describe as "really good handling". It's not am M3 or an ISF. But I didn't have any problems keeping up with and pushing a four door Civic Si through a clover leaf that sling shots onto a highway. :o) I do see coilovers and sway bars in my future though and 225/45/18 rubber.
Power delivery is linear which is nice. No surprises when pulling through a corner. I test drove a MazdaSpeed 3 and two things killed it. The sound of the exhaust when cruising at 100 kmh was excrutiating and the power delivery was barberic at best. Not to mention it's a different class of car.
Wether your using digits or peoples names to make calls, the hands free is a lesson in frustration. No matter what the road or wind noise is like.
The Nav system works really well and it's more then just a GPS. I've never had a car with voice activated commands. Almost everything in the car can be voice acitvated when the car is equipped with the tech pkg. As I said, I've never had such a system so I keep forgeting that I have it. That said, I can't give any feedback on how well it works. I can only assume it's as entertaining as the hands free since it all uses the same voice recognition software.
For those of you who are having problems with your cup holder lid not opening, there is an easy fix. I discovered, on mine anyway, that the plastic at the top right corner of the cover was catching on the plastic piece they use to cover the shift linkage etc. I used 2000 grit wet sanding paper to "sand" it down and it's fine.
I've removed the Acura and the TSX tags on both cars. Looks much better in my opinion. I moved the front license plate to below the bumper and removed the license plate frame all together.
In short. No complaints. Great car, great service, great experience. If I had it all to do again, I would do the same thing. Get two TSX's. :o)

Got one this weekend, Grey on Black w/tech. Was working on an S5 and settled for the TSX, steering sucks and under powered. Came off of a 2003 Carrera so I do not know what to think. Waiting for the TSX to grow on me but not sure it will.

Those 2 cars aren't even close to each other. How did you even go from the S5 to the TSX? No wonder you're disappointed.
