I was quite impressed with the key note speaker at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday. Barack Obama could be the first black president...assuming he wins the Senate seat for Illinois this year.

On the other hand, Teresa Ketchup Kerry was quite the opposite. I think she is really hindering Kerry, and is perceived as an elite foreigner. She should shut her mouth whenever possible if she wants to be President.

Any other opinions on the DNC would be appreciated.

Kerry did a great job tonight.

What most of the commentators have been talking about is the CONTENT of what he said, but IMVHO they're missing the main story, which was his manner and style. His big weakness supposedly has been his manner and style -- dour, depressing, boring, rambling, and endless.

And he was none of that. He was energetic, charismatic, and positive.

If he can keep that up, his chances are very very good.
