Not sure if this site's Moderators have done the homeworks
but pretty sure some mods on the other site have tossed the rules of conduct out the window (or moonroof)
But here is some materials on Moderator Responsibilities & Conducts
http://www.**************/forums/images/smilies/rtfm.gif
Guidelines (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39817&highlight=guidelines) Super Mod Guide (http://www.sitepoint.com/article/779) guidelines II (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=60391&highlight=guidelines) Guidelines III (http://site.nissr.com/zeino/forum/forumhelp/moderators1.html)
I hope this will make this forum better.

Thanks Robert!!
So far we have not really had any problem's here (knocks on wood), as we function like one big family. I am sure as we grow, more guidlines will be needed though.

As Joker said, there haven't been any problems along these lines here, at least not as far as I'm concerned (and you might say I'm tough about these things). :D
I didn't know that vBulletin (or anybody) had such written guidelines. When I first came here, because of my frustrations with the site that you're talking about, I started a couple of threads asking people what they thought we should expect of internet sites -- by which I really meant what we should expect from admins and mods. Just a few people got specific with their own thoughts, and some people (especially admins and mods from "over there") thought it was nothing more than site-bashing. But I genuinely was wondering. I offered my own thoughts on what should be expected. But I said I really didn't know if it was reasonable, and I was looking for other input.
I took a look at those links that you posted. Didn't read them completely, but did get the gist. And, golly, it's very much along the lines of what I suggested back then:

Glad you've come here too, RTG. I think you'll be happy here.
And if they keep it up, they'll chase more and more people over here. :donno:

He thought some of the admins/mods "over there" sucked, maybe didn't even know any guidelines or at least weren't following them.
And I said he's right.
That's about it. :D
Basically those guidelines say mods should be reasonable.

Man where did they find these people for Mods ???
This is about a thread titled "DYK (Did You Know)" on the other site :
The mod started ridiculing this kid http://www.sportbikers.net/ubb/graemlins/nutcracker.gif
& using the F word and when the other person shot back the mod gave the "warning"....it's so funny.
BTW, the mod is like old enough to be the kid's father....

Then it became some what like this :sport62:
so this level-headed Mega Mod (whom I have much respect) had to prematurely shut it off.
