So I was getting an oil change at the stealership and I decided to check out the 2nd gen. I sat in and started absorbing everything... it feels very familiar, but different. Think we had enuf reviews on that, anyway...

So i was playing with the cup holder cover in the center near the handbrake, but it got "stuck" continuously!!! The sales guy noticed and said it was "JUST" this car... although not a big problem at all, just wanted to note that here ^^ they could probably fix it

Btw, i don't like how the paddle shifter (+) is so close to the wiper control arm... If i had slightly bigger hands and was driving/turning with paddles etc it would probably trip the wipers....

i also don't get why they put the "this is not an ashtray" thing back in with a seperate cover from the plug... I think they could have done something more... innovative or something with that space....

:sprint: for the trunk button

Do you think its worth waiting for some used 2009 TSX's to hit the dealerships or just got an 08?

I don't quite understand what you mean by it getting stuck? You talking about the cover getting stuck closed?

To me I could care less if it got stuck cause mine is never closed it always a a bottle of water in it or coffee.

I rarely close the cover for the cupholders too.

my guess is that its the test drive model and its already getting abused.

mine don't have any problem w/ the cover too..

btw, today i notice that i was able to change the gears using paddle shift while the gear was on "D".... now i'm wondering... is it a glitch i should send it to the dealer?

thats normal. you are suppose to be able to change gear while you are in D.
another thing i found that was nice. if you leave the rear view window in R instead of in the center, try put your car in reverse. the right rear view mirror goes down so you can see whats on the ground.
i never had a 1st gen so i dont know if 1st gens has it, but its new to me and i thought that was a nice touch.

I've been looking at the TSX all week and my dealer has around 10 or so. Only one has the sticking cup holder and it sticks 100% of the time.

We picked up our new TSX yesterday and the cup holders are fine, gas filler door works fine, etc. We got halfway home and turned the radio on and the driver's side door speaker rattles and cracks. :(

The nav system isn't as nice as accurate as my $250 Nuvi, either. It couldn't find my home address within a 1/4 mile. :D
