New Grill Coming ***Install Pics Now Available***

There is a new grill coming out from silviaparts.com. The prototype was left prepainted today and should arrive at my house by the end of the week for a test fit. As soon as it arrives I will post pictures and write up a review on it. The grill will cost $130 and then $50 more if you would like to have it pre-painted. hopefullly by this weekend I will have the pictures posted.

I didn't want to spend that kind of $
But this price seems reasonable

they are not on there yet cause i have not received the grill so i can take pictures of it on my car so that they will have pictures to put on the site of the grill on a car. it should be on within the next week as they just shipped the grill today.

Just found out the grill has arrived at home so i dont get off work till 430 so we will see it might get done tonight but if it doesnt it will definitly get done this weekend so there will be pictures soon. Also if i dont get it up tonight i will at least post some more pics of the grill by it self

the grill came with a small crack on one of the mounting pieces am waiting till monday to find out if i should intsall anyways and if anything else happens then return it or to ship it back on monday.

Ok well they emailed me back and said I should go ahead and put some resin on the small crack which is not noticeable from the outside at all and if it does not work they will be glad to exchange it for another one. The customer service at this place is very responsive I get emails back within the half hour almost every time and if not then its within the hour. So I will be getting so resin tonight and then hopefully will have the pictures up before I leave for a short 3 day weekend vacation on Friday.

The status is I have fixed the grill but I leave for vacation tomorrow night after work and I am not working on friday so I am putting in a little over time so it is going to get installed Monday night.

well no there will be no tweaking in the end they are going to redesign it and send me another to try i sent them pictures of the mounts of the mugen and stock grill

that sounds odd....I mean don't tell me they "designed" the thing themselves instead of copying Mugen or some JDM straight.

Ok here are the pictures from the test fit the the grill has almost no gap between it and the bumber. There is however a large gap between the the top bar and the hood. I have emailed them on this and I am pretty sure they are going to make some changes. Overall though I am very happy wil the way that it looks.

Just received this from the company about the grill.

"The grill will be ready in several days, we will then ship it to you for test fit. This grill has already been test fitted on a CL7 here in Hong Kong and it was perfect. Now, we just want to confirm it with the US model. If the fitment is good, we will start production. The grills will be ready to be ordered right after New Year. Please tell the others that wait for another two weeks, this should be the last wait before everything is ready.

I also got a tracking number for the package and the grill arrived in the US at Kennedy airport this morning at 1:16am. I should have the grill by Wednesday and then have it installed by Friday night at the latest. I will then take pictures of the car for them to post on there site and orders should be accepted soon after that within a week or so.

The grill will be $140 not painted and shipped, and $60 extra to have it painted. The first one they sent me the paint matched really well, so I think it is an awesome deal for Grill, Painting, and Shipped for $200.

That's right, officially there's no CL7 but as you probably know in HK, you can buy any JDM make/model you like. As for parts and accessories, you have to hit the Mongkok workshops.

sorry for the long gap for the update but here it is. there was a problem with the grill fitment. I have sent them back the first grill they sent me which fir perfectly and had no gap against the bumper. the top bar by the hood latch was too far forward and too low still so they are giong to move that. I am honoring there request not to post pictures. If you are still waiting for this grill, I would keep waiting. Any company willing to spend this much time and effort into building a grill should have a good one when it is done. How ever I will probably not have the next one till the end of february.

well the company is out of hong kong. the new grill is scheduled to be painted in about two weeks and then shipped out from there hopefully this one fits. I should have it in 2 months tops if anyone is still waiting for this grill at all.

i think was something like 130 plus shipping not painted and like 180 painted plus shipping. dont hold me to that however cause that is from memory from what they told me a while ago.
