Possible 2nd Gen Recall

I am not sure if this has been posted yet but AHM anounced to us yesterday there will be a recall on the 2009 TSX for trunk lock cylinder repalcement campaign number (08-040) the issue is that the valet key opens the trunk ! so if this is the first you have heard of this check to see if your valet key opens your trunk. (it's not suppose to) and if it does call your local dealer to set an appointment. letters to affected owners will be going out beginning the end of August and American Honda will make this public today.... :thumbsup:

Not a big deal. Could not care less. Never use this hey unless car is at dealership, at which time nothing special is in the trunk.

On another note, anyone notice a rattling that is coming from the rear of the car, ie the back seat area.

nope, no rattles anywhere in the car. i have a base with 4000 miles on it. my brake pads are squeaking though?
i don think i need new pads already do i?

no rattles for me either.. i thought i heard something a few times, but turns out it was my aluminum windowshade on the backseat rattling on itself.
