All I have to say is... unbelievable. If you want to condition your leather trimmed interior and keep it looking that way forever, this is what you want.

leatherique dot com

I thought I better code the URL just in case this forum strips URLs like some others I've been to.

Yes, admittedly the website seems a bit low quality, but the products speak for themselves. The Rolls Royce club of America uses their products exclusively as well as many other exotic car enthusiasts. They've been in the business for almost 40 years, too. Using the two products together, the conditioning oil and the cleaner, may take more time than typical over-the-counter products, and cost a bit more, but it's worth it.

Check it out if you're serious about caring for the leather in your TSX.

Now of course not all of the seating surface in our TSXs is leather. It doesn't matter though. These products will not harm anything including vinyl, plastic, rubber, or wood. It won't hurt to use it on the seat backs and side edges where it's not really leather.

Anybody else have any experience with it yet. I mean... come on!!! They use it in Ferraris!!!

>>They've been in the business for almost 40 years,

Be skeptical, I was. But it's amazing.

On another note, I take ample care with a surface wipe of the interior including the leather upholstery using a damp chamois. This has done well to keep the showroom condition. Then again, my car is always garaged even at work and is rare to see sunlight or natural elements exposure.

Personally I think the best & greatest product they have may be an overkill for the TSX's leather.
On that note, godofwine which one is the cheapest, common-denominator product that you recommend ?

After having used this product it's hard for me to honestly recommend another. Seriously though, the cost of these leather care products is nothing compared to the value of our cars. I will say though that it *is* a bit of work using the Leatherique oil and cleaner. However, it is *so* worth it. I've seen other people's cars where they use some over the counter leather care product. They tend to make the leather shiny or waxy on the surface but do little to nothing to actually condition the leather. Besides that, I'm not a big fan of the shiny leather look unless it is a waxed leather to begin with. You usually won't find that type of leather in automobiles, either. Typically, waxed leather is used in the production of home furniture, not in automobiles. If you ever happen through a department store, take a look at the fine home furnishings and you'll see what I mean. Leatherique rejuvenator oil permeates the leather and pushes all the cruddy, cheap leather protectants to the surface, along with dried perspiration and dirt. After you bake the car in the sun for a couple of hours you'll find a sticky residue on the surface of the leather. Just take the cleaner to the leather next, and it's like magic. All the grunge is gone and the leather is *not* left looking artifically shiny or waxed. It just looks *very* healthy like it should. Come on, give it a try. It's well worth it. All you need to do is set aside about 2 hours to apply the oil and about 2 hours to remove it later with the cleaner. With the treatment you're probably going to be good for a year. But, if you really don't want to go with both steps, the leather cleaner, Prestine Clean, alone should do a pretty good job at routine cleaning.
