The reason i didnt get the Navi is because i don't think it's worth $2000. It's confusing, annoying, and really more of an hassle to work with it then anything. I work at Honda and the Accord has the exact same Navi system with voice and i really don't like it. It's really pretty and spiffy but again all the hassle and annoyance that comes with the Navi is not worth the cost. Mods, im not sure not right now. Maybe drop it a little to get rid of the wheel gap but thats about it. Oh and im gonna change the speakers to a better one.

My Civic had legal limit which was 27% and the Acura Dealership told me they would do max legal so i think this is 27% too. However the dealership did a much better job than my Civic.

And it's not that the image was too large it just gave me some weird message saying something about the server and that an e-mail was sent to the admin. Ill try again now. Thanks for the compliments too.

We've had ours for about 3 weeks now. Still in love with it. We really like the tint on the silver... turns a lot of heads, and keeps you from burning your butt on the leather. We went with 15% on the back and rear side windows, 35% (legal limit in Ontario Canada) on the front sides. Visibility is just fine. If you are at all thinking about getting an accord instead, give this car some very serious thought. It is worth every extra dollar you'll spend. Enjoy.

How does everyone feel about the moonroof wind deflector? From the pics I've seen so far, just about everyone has opted not to get it.

I can't decide if I should get one or not... I have one on my Integra, but it really seems to defeat the purpose of having a moonroof... however, it does cut down on the noise/windstorm when I'm on the highway.

Any input?

I dont agree with your decision on the Navi, its awesome, once you really get to learn to play with it, anytime im lost i just use the voice control and say "go home" and it finds my way, also finds the nearest gas station, restaurants, and so on....the Navi makes the car really unique!!!!

I think the concept of a navigation system is great, however, there are some weird quirks with the one in the TSX. One of the things that I have heard complaints about is the fact that everytime you need to do something with the screen (including adjusting the climate controls) you have to click through a disclaimer screen.

Personally, when I do get lost, I usually pull over and call the place for directions.

The engine spec:
K24A, 2.4 iVTEC engine, 6-speed manual
Max.Power: 140 kW (190hp)
Max torque: 223Nm
Top speed: 235km/h (~145mph)
0-100km/h : 8.1 sec

It should be the same engine as TSX, but maybe different emission requirement, it needs 95 RON fuel but only generates 190hp.

By the way I drove a 95 Integra before. Althought Accord is a much better car, but I still miss my Integra.... Here is a pic of it

Hey, you ARE an "American." :D

Actually, since being on the TSX sites, which of course have a lot of Canadian members, I've had to train myself to avoid saying "American" when I mean just U.S. (in "real life" as well as on the sites).
I don't think I've slipped up yet.

Very rare, about the same as MR. If were to guesstimate the ratios, based on my own sightings in Toronto, it would be 50% SSM, 30% PWP, 10% NBP, 5% MR, 5% IBP.

NBP is disproportionately rarer in Canada because it's only available w/Parchment.

Hey, SJ! -- I know that this post of yours goes back quite a ways (to last July), but I wanted to make sure you know that this isn't true.

For some reason, impressions like this are quite widespread, and they still get posted occasionally on the forums. Even more strange is that when people post comments like this, usually nobody shows up to give the correct info for a long time, if ever.

You have to go through the "disclaimer" screen (which requires you to press "OK") ONLY to use a Nav or map function.

If you want to do A/C, climate controls, audio, or anything else NOT involving Nav or map, all you have to do is press the appropriate button on the console, e.g. "A/C" or "Audio" (or use the appropriate voice command), and you're right there.

One step. No disclaimer.

Thanks for clearing that up. I still, however, think that it is kind of ridiculous to have to go through the disclaimer screen every time you want to use the Navi. Sure, the first time it comes up (maybe even the third time) you'll read it. After that, it'll become automatic to just click OK without reading it. Thanks for clearing that up. I still, however, think that it is kind of ridiculous to have to go through the disclaimer screen every time you want to use the Navi. Sure, the first time it comes up (maybe even the third time) you'll read it. After that, it'll become automatic to just click OK without reading it. After about two years (or less), you'll wish you could always skip that screen.

From the user's perspective, I'm with you on this. I mean who actually takes the time to sit and read the screen?

But from Honda/Acura's perspective, it's there for a very good reason. By having to press "OK", the user is consenting to terms and conditions layed out on the screen. Specifically, the user is to utilize the Nav with a grain of salt and not abandon common sense when driving.

I'm sure this comes in very handy for the Honda/Acura lawyers when they are sued by an idiot who drives against the traffic on one-way street because the "Navigation System said so":jeffy:

That's pretty close to the Chevy Nova that was my FIRST car. :ikno:

Except that the whole car was that green color.

Aren't you glad you asked? :D

P.S. My TSX is just a regular Carbon Gray/Ebony with a lot of stupid crap on it, like the window visors and the moonroof visor and an ugly EZ Pass tag on the windshield. asdfg

Terrific how you actually know the story about those bricks. They really do look special, to the extent that bricks can look special!!

Hope you know I'm only teasing you, the Honda is a looker very nice color blue (similar to Canadian TSX). I have a couple questions for you.

"According" to the Honda brochure for Australian Accord Euro, there are only 2 models listed, the "Accord Euro" and "Accord Euro Luxury." Your description says "Accord 2.4 Executive," why is that not listed in the brochure, is it a new model?

Also, where is the switch located for the headlamp washers?

Well, i am living in Finland......
Did you move there after hearing the Monty Python song? :D

Finland, Finland, Finland,
The country where I want to be,
Pony trekking or camping,
Or just watching TV.
Finland, Finland, Finland.
It's the country for me.

You're so near to Russia,
So far from Japan,
Quite a long way from Cairo,
Lots of miles from Vietnam.

Finland, Finland, Finland,
The country where I want to be,
Eating breakfast or dinner,
Or snack lunch in the hall.
Finland, Finland, Finland.
Finland has it all.

You're so sadly neglected
And often ignored,
A poor second to Belgium,
When going abroad.

Finland, Finland, Finland,
The country where I quite want to be,
Your mountains so lofty,
Your treetops so tall.
Finland, Finland, Finland.
Finland has it all.

Finland, Finland, Finland,
The country where I quite want to be,
Your mountains so lofty,
Your treetops so tall.
Finland, Finland, Finland.
Finland has it all.

Finland has it all.

I swear, that song made me want to go to Finland. Not that I wasn't a little interested anyway.

P.S. I can't believe they didn't mention fjords. (Or even fiords.)
(Oops, is that Norway?) :D

Beautiful! And welcome, civicsir!

Great shots. I assume that's the Meteor Silver? Very few people seem to have it, and I wonder if it's hard to get. Our member DSM has it, and a handful of occasional visitors to the site have had it, but really very few people.

Not that I have any regrets about getting the Carbon Gray, but I picked it because it was one of just two colors that were available if I wanted to get the car quickly. If I'd had the full choice, I would have picked Meteor Silver.

How 'bout if I help out and put one of your pics here:

Also...

Just my opinion but if I were to replace the stock rims and tyres, I would make sure that I got at least 18 inch rims, those rims with the low profile tyres just make the wheel arch look way too big !

Also, I am not sure if those rims match the rest of the car, the color and style just arn't angry enough, infact I think the stock rims and tyres look like a better match !

Just my 2 cents worth, each to their own :)

I loved it. As I've noted before, it seems that all the Legends from that era (late '80's) that are still around are that color. That has made me wonder if there was something about that paint that helped the car stay good for so long. People have noted that Hondas and old Acuras were so great that RUST was often the main thing that eventually did them in. Maybe that gold paint somehow was particularly resistant to rust?? :donno:

I wished that the TSX came in that color -- I definitely would have taken it. But, since then, when I've seen cars of this size in that color, I've felt they don't look as good on the car as the TSX colors do.

Mods:

Mugen Grill
17*7.5 Work Emotion Wheels (bronze)
Rays lug nuts
225/45/zr17 Proxes T1-S Tires
Sprint Springs.... (Tein's have been on order for 6 months, still waiting)

My list is not big but I plan on a Fujitsubo exhaust and lower lip but I haven't found one that I like.. Does anyone know which lower lip the Realtime TSX has? I like that one.

Thanks, hope you like!

I just got back from the shop and here it is

http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/458829

These are:
Enkei Zeus 20 x 8.5 3 piece forged aluminum triple chrome plated
Nitto 555 Extrremes 245/35/20

I have an Eibach prokit in the garage and i am debating on weather i should put it on. I have about an inch till i start rubbing but i also have the discount tire warranty on all the tires. so if i pop a tire or damage a tire it is a brand new tire for free. and all mounting and balancing by the way " class="inlineimg" />

give me your thoughts on what i should do i think if i drop it it would be perfect. not for performance of course just for looks. by the choice of size it should be obvious i am not going for performance. I also have a full fiberglass install in progress even more evidence i am not racing anyone anytime soon and expecting to win
