just curious why the need for more RAM, has there been an increase in traffic ?

Don't know if this has any relation to the need for more RAM, but.....for the last few weeks the site was noticeably slower than it used to be.
Seems real fast again now, but I'm not sure it's a difference -- maybe has more to do with time of day. We'll see later on. Or maybe one of the admins/mods can tell us.
