Everyone welcome.
Discussing the spark plugs for the TSX.

I'm not sure if the stock plugs are already platinum or not.
However, platinum plug isn't new technology since it came to the market like 15 years ago.

Today, we have the " IRIDIUM PLUGS " available.
Are they good?
Compare with the stock platinums, which one last longer?
Which one will give better consumption?

Yes, the majority of OEM plugs these days are Platinum typed, well that's the case for Honda anyway. They've been the benchmark for optimal performance, longevity but no doubts Iridium typed have taken over the lead and can be found by most major manufacturers - NGK, Denso, etc.

Iridiums will last the longest followed by the platinums. Plain copper plugs work the best, but just don't las very long. But at $2 a plug, who cares :spin:

I guess we can discuss those performance plugs wires too.

Hmm......I think Honda's stock wire already a very good conductor.

Can the experts tell me what can be gain from replacing those hot wires?

Are they more of a decoration instead?

The K series engines use direct injection ... There aren't any of those "wires". They provide the most efficient spark control/delivery to the engine on-demand.
