Can anyone tell me what size tyre Honda fit to their 17 inch wheels (which we don't get in Australia)? I'm sure it's 215 or 225 45 and I know that there's not much in it, but I'd just like to know...
225 is a closer size match, but different manufacturers go different ways: Lexus and Mazda go from a 205 55 R16 to a 215 45 R17; BMW goes to a 225; Alfa Romeo goes to 215s on most models, but 225s on the GTAs. Acura in the US runs 215 50 R17 -- which is really rare tyre fitment.
There are normally reasons manufacturers use a particular size and I'd just like to know what Honda "recommends"...
