Hi guys, I'm doing a survey on how much you usually spend for GAS on average per MONTH for your TSX ;)

TSX 'R' US

I spend less than $100/month on average

You need to re-do those categories. They're way too high for most people.

I drive more than most people (about 1400 miles/month), and yes I usually drive pretty efficiently :007: so I get a little better gas mileage, but paying NY prices more than makes up for that.

And I only spend about $100-$120 a month -- even at today's inflated prices.

I live 8 miles from my work, so I may not be driving my TSX as much as most.

That's what I meant too. I think MOST people spend less than $100.

Interesting thread, but I have no idea why the categories begin at $100.

Would have been better to start with one lower category of 0-100, or, better yet, TWO lower categories: 0-50 and 51-100.

Or something like that......

at the most conservative minimum I drive about 25 miles each day which is about = 1 gallon.
so I burn about at least 30 maybe 40 Gal per month.
I really wish I could take public transportation.

I've always wondered, how much is the gas cost in the states?

In Sweden we use Litres but for the simplicity i've recounted to Gallons.
Ther's 3,79 Litres in 1 gallon.

If i'm not having a total breakdown right now we here in Sweden pay 5.7 Dollars for one Gallon of Gas

It's been running about $2 a gallon or slightly more. It varies from region to region, and even within the same town, but that gives you an idea.

A lot of us complain about it, but actually our gasoline is cheap compared to most other places in the world -- including Europe.
And although it seems like we have very steep increases sometimes, the cost of gasoline in the U.S. (adjusted for inflation) has been remarkably stable for decades.

It's $2.30/gal for Supreme right now, I think.

Sigh... I remember a time when I paid less than $2.00/gal for Supreme.

When I was a kid in college: Usually about 37 or 38 cents a gallon.
And if you were willing to drive a few blocks extra and get a brand you never heard of, 31 or 32 cents.

But if you adjust it for inflation, voila! -- it's just about $2.

Ok, according to what i've heard it's equal to political homocide to raise the tax on gasoline in tha US. I think about 80% of the gasoline cost's are taxes in Swe.
