Leather protection

Is it necessary to use leather protectant? So far i haven't done that to my leather seats. Any recommendations on what to use? :patty:

Meguairs NXT Leather Care ... Only the best, non of that glossy wet finish. This one gets asorbed pretty well. Expensive but worth every cent.
