Surprisingly, it seems we haven't had a poll on this.

We shouldn't assume that our results will be representative of TSX's in general, but so what? Let's see what we get.

My wife says I am navigationally challenged, ergo need of a nav unit

When we went looking at TSXs, we wanted one without nav, but the one we test drove had it and we were pretty much sold. Sold enough that we took our second choice of color for $2000 more to get it, even though we hadn't been looking for it.

It's stupid in some ways, but handy in others. I'm hoping the update discs change the software a little.

Didn't think I needed it. Don't have it. Don't wish I did. OK, Sometimes. But mapquest works fine for me and 99.9% of the time I know where I am going when I am driving.

Well, we started shopping for convertible MINIs, but ended up with the TSX sedan... so I wanted to have something fun to replace all that top-down-in-the-sun fun!

I have a 2005 TSX CG/Quartz/NAV.

I don't think I will ever buy a car with out the nav again. I first got a nav unit when I bought an Odyssey over a year ago. I love it in that car. The TSX nav is even better, with voice controls and the 8" screen. Just awesome. Even if your not using it for directions, it is just cool to have a map on the screen. :jump:

I don't have a need for Nav on my TSX, therefore I didn't get it. I usually just use my trusty 2003 ed. Rand McNally Road Atlas whenever I take roadtrips ( I take a lot of road trips) Also, I usually plan my routes ahead, before I hit the road.

chen you Real Estate agent right ?
If so I'd say whilst you don't see a need for it, this tool is definitely a big convenience and help to someone in your field. Agree ?

I am a real estate agent at Coldwell Banker and yeah knowing directions and locations of display houses and such do help, but I know my way around town pretty well....unless I go further west where all the new development is going on. Like APOGEE said, I can always pull up directions on mapquest.
