Who has experience with the DC header?
I really liked the performance. Low end torque is very nice, exhaust
growls pleasantly. I find myself torqueing around town at the low end
more with this header which was not this car's strong suit.
However mine broke at the cat flange, it was repaired by DC sports.
I reinstalled in last weekend and remembered why I liked it.
At DC they said they have not had a large number returned. My vendor
said he has sold 200 and never got a complaint. What's the story,
how big is this problem ?

Who has experience with the DC header?
I had the DC Sports 4-2-1 header on my Civic, and have nothing but great things to say about it. However, that was before AEM bought DC.
Since then, I cannot comment.
Joker - who has the stock header on his TSX

no problems with the dc header....great product..love sound
On the other site, numerous members had the same problem. I think since DC went to AEM, their product has gone to crap, making them come to terms with the true DC (Domestic Crap) :D I have read that the gains are pretty nice though.
I believe you get what you pay for, so a 200 dollar header is not gonna last as long as say a 1k plus Toda header :D

AEM only bought DC Sports because DC Sports was losing money. AEM has done so much for the company the price was so low because they wanted to mass produce and move a large amount of headers. Right now AEM is raising their prices and in due time the prices will be around $450-500 for a header. Keep in mind it is a ceramic header not a stainless like most manufactuers offer.

Mine broke at the cat flange too. DC Sports said they will replace/fix it. Hope it doesn't brake again.

Damn, mine broke tonight with no warning. Parked the car the last time I drove it, and it was fine. Went to start it up 2 hours later, and it sounded as if the car didn't have an exhaust. Looked under the car, and it seems to be coming from the end of the flex pipe, by the end flange to the cat.
Sucks that tomorrow is Sunday. I hope I can find a shop to weld it back up.
:nono: for DC. Don't think I'll buy another DC product again.
