wow that's funky... haha with light-color rubber the car will be like running on air like Luke Skywalker's ride.
Looks like they be throwing up rock chips like crazy.

First time I saw that picture, I thought those were old-style wagon wheels on that Audi. :)
Very ugly, no thanks ... Let's see this implemented in motorsports.

I saw about that in the paper a couple of weeks ago.
Supposedly there's a lot to be ironed out before it's ready for the market, like the ride sux.
But sounds darned interesting. Can't go flat, lasts real long, great performance.

I'm guessing they would probably able to put a thin sidewall around it to make it look like a conventional tire.
But I assume to maintain ride comfort you'd have to stick with a relatively high profile, which wouldn't look too good on performance cars...
