onequicktsx-- how soon are you looking to purchase. I got in on a deal with BPT for 1350 shipped on the whole kit plus fogs. Orders have to be in tomorrow to pick up on the deal. Let me know. They require half up front and the rest upon delivery.

it is because if you compare JDM & USDM foglights side by side. You can't tell any different(At least I can't), but only JDM Foglights fits EuroR Front Lip.

Full JDM foglights set include harness, housing, cover, switch. The switch is for Right Hand drive vehicle. It won't fit for TSX, therefore you need to go buy an aftermarket switch or OEM switch.

sorry still don't see why pointless if they INDEED FIT on TSX OEM front kit.
I DO NOT have foggies, not willing to dump UD$600 on them.

So why is it pointless to get them for a couple hundred $ from someone like TSXmike who is getting the Euro R kit but don't care for the foggies ?

u can probably buy a new set of OEM online for abt the same price
and it will come with the OEM harness and switch .. which save u alot of time
and give a way better finish look with the OEM switch ~ ...
i been through the whole thing .. ~ the custom JDM harness part is PITA ~
just my .02 .. if u still think it's cool to go with JDM .. have fun with it :)

Got mine through BPT. Might wanna call and talk to Morris, maybe he'll hook you up. He helped me out since I have bought a lot of parts there, and was willing to help out those interested for those few days prior to him placing an order. Not too sure the deal still stands though. :donno: Couldn't hurt to try.

i got cash ready for this deal... it comes factory painted PWP??? even better if it does. i realize this thread is a month old but i REALLY want it and i was planning on buying it outright anyway ($2500 just about w/ fogs) so if i can get any kind of discount on it i'd be VERY happy...

sooooo, just wanted to make sure i understand correctly.

ONLY the JDM fog housings will fit the euro R lip, so i'll need JDM foglights but a USDM switch? if i go to any acura dealer and buy a fog light switch alone i can use the rest of the JDM foglight kit w/no problems (as in plug and play, no wiring mess?) do they sell the foglight switch separately? any idea on how much they are? i need to know because i'm going to buy all the stuff and the JDM foglight kit so that i have the lights, housings, and harness, then i'll go buy the USDM foglight switch that (should) plug into the JDM harness, correct?

3.u may wanna ask the dealer if they can sell u the switch + harness seperately .. from the foglight kit .. however, so far the dealer seems only sell the fog light kit as a whole package and not seperate peices ..
4 therefore, u need a custom harness + switch for the JDM set up like wut i did on my car .. ~

O.K. I still don't understand. BPT told me all I needed was the lip and fog lights, plus the switch for the fogs that you've all been talking about. The fog lights are not where I'm confused. What I don't get is the fog light housing.

I've attached a picture of the area in question. It appears to me that the housing on the Euro is different from the tsx. The part that is different does not look like it is part of the lower lip spoiler but part of the front bumper, and would therefore require a new front bumper.

That's my question. Everything I can find says you need the front lip and fogs. But I need someone to show me a picture of the Euro R front lip before it goes on the car so I can see exactly which parts are included with the "lip".

Anyway. Sorry I'm such an idiot, I just don't expect a lip spoiler to go up as far as this one may, and I guess I'm having trouble believing it.

ok .. ~ the housing is actually part of the lip ~ .... nthing different on the bumper .. ~ that's y u only need the lip + foglights ~

sooo, i want to know if this will work:

i'm assuming that the JDM and USDM harness is identical, the only differences being in the housings and RHD switch?

I buy a USDM fog light kit from any acura dealer, which includes steering column switch, harness, foglights, and housings. (correct?)

I buy JDM foglight HOUSINGS ONLY from BPT, and use the USDM kit but instead of USDM foglights, i put the JDM foglights in the bumper, and connect the JDM foglights to the factory USDM acura foglight harness according to standard install (as if i was using USDM housings).

if i do this, everything plugs in, no wiring mess and i have JDM foglights ready for lip? all i'll have left over is a set of USDM foglights and housings that i wont be able to use from the kit, since everything else (harness and column switch) is used with the JDM fogs?

sorry for beating it to death but i want to make sure i have as close to an OEM JDM foglight kit as possible. i'll be contacting BPT to order my euro R kit unless there's going to be some sort of group buy in the next few months (i can build my suspension in the meantime).
