Open the doors and boot. There is a key to start the car, Honda still hasn't implemented a keyless start-up system.

Ok, so is it like the electronic key that SAAB has, in that it changes the code each time you use it (except starting the car)?
Sorry, I don't exactly know the dynamics and purpose of the Honda card. Because the key supercedes the function of the card at the end of the day. How Honda has it setup vs how GM does it ... Can't answer.

Hi Counter Balance San!
Glad to see you here. I too hail from a foreign land. I'm an owner of the EuroR in Singapore.
Actually, I'm here to seek your help. Cause in Singapore, aftermarket parts for the EuroR is quite scarce to find. Moreover, the TSX is K24A whereas our EuroR is K20A, so most of the aftermarket parts for TSX do not fit on our EuroR. So I was sourcing for part from Japan on the net. But it seems like what I can actually find is quite limited. So I'll like to seek your advice as to what to go with regarding aftermarket parts from Japan. Spoon? Feel's? Toda?
Thanks a million!
Perhaps you should start a new thread. ;)
There are "sufficient" JDM parts IMO as long as you're willing to shell out the required dollars for it. What are you trying to find or would like to "modify" to begin with? Hmm, Singapore has a strong legal restriction against vehicle modifications and that itself limits the entire picture.
BTW, can you also please tone down the size of the avatar? It's a little too big and does make browsing/reading annoying. Thank you.

Will it become a similar price to buying AUDI A8 in the United States?
Do you like TODAracing?
4-2-1header has been only commercialized in that. However, it is very expensive. :(
My recommendation・・・
It is RAMCHARGER of gruppem.
It is efficient with an air filter of K&N.
It is an item sold only in Japan.

Hey. Sorry bout the avatar. Done it.
Well, it costs about USD70K if I convert. But I've no idea how much an Audi costs in States. But it cost about S$260K over here. Twice the amount I paid for my car...so outta my means.
But I just love EuroR, the looks and the handling.
Back to the main point. Maybe I didn't phrase my questions so well, my bad. Sorry bout that. I'll re-phrase them simply. What JDM products would you recommend for in terms of performance? Saw quite a couple of EuroRs in Japan had their exhaust changed to something called "ProRacer ASpec"? We definitely won't have that in Singapore. Need approval from authorities here to install that. But I'm more of referring to other parts. Like intakes, headers, gasket, camshafts, etc etc.
Was hoping to hear some views from a real JDM EuroR. Believe that modding would have catch on there much faster than compared to Singapore.
Thanks Counter san. Arigato !

There are a few Euro R owners here from Singapore, however they're fairly "quiet" in general. If you're looking for a catback exhaust system, anything with a "Jasma Approved" label should be acceptable and legal in Singapore. Don't quote me on that but the sound output of Jasma is acceptable in most other nations as well.
As for intakes, you have GruppeM, Mugen, Injen, K&N just to name the popular few. 2 of the first easily costs double the price. Gasket and cams? The Toda A spec should go fine. But establishing more power in this sense is perhaps more worthy invested in the simple bolt-ons first before attempting engine work.

Don't get me wrong guys. Not that I don't believe what you said. I'm more of still sourcing of what's available. Cause I don't mind getting the parts imported into Singapore.
Cause Singapore's market is relatively small, alot of workshops can't see the profit in bringing in aftermarket parts for certain car makes. So I wanted to know what's available & might be better in terms of reliability, durability. not necessary just performance wise, so what if it's good and only last me 2 - 3 months.
So I was actually hoping to get more feedback from Counter, cause parts in states are mostly made for TSX which basically is CL9, whereas what I have is CL7. They might fit, but since it's not made for the CL7 in mind. It might not be a good choice eventhough they're more easily available.
Only Japan has the EuroR, so I guess parts from there might be a better choice than parts from States.
But if I've offended anyone. I'm sorry. Not my intention.
llllll9
Perhaps you should expand on viewing other parts of the forum as well, here is my (http://tsxclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4286&page=1&pp=40) car. Except for the intake, all other parts on the car are CL7 designed while CL9 compatible.
Like I said as above, stick to bolt-on parts first. And then take it from there. The only limit is budget.
Andynolife
04-27-2005, 10:09 PM
yup .. ~ most parts r interchangtable .. ~ and many TSX in Vancouver put lots of CL7 parts in thier cars too .. ~ and most of them need no modification or even very minor modification. ~ and it all comes to budget in the end .. ~

Hi Noel,
Am just wondering what is the differences in terms of performance for the Gruppem and Mugen intake? Is the latter better in all rpm range compared to Mugen which is more for low-mid range?

Thanks for the comments.. Anyway its too late.. I have already installed the Mugen intake.. But No Regrets!! But the differences between the 2 is that Gruppem is louder when past 3500Rpm.. as compared to Mugen where its more tame.. But in the Vtec zone.. the Mugen is just as sweet!! In Singapore, there is at least 5 or more Euro Rs with Gruppem.. Out of the 100's on the road. Mugen is rare.. probably due to the price..
