Which ear do you hold the phone to when talking on it?

Joker

I always hold the phone to my left ear when talking on it.

Start with my right and often switch to the left.

I have always used my left, and can't hear as good when I use my right :donno:

Depends

Wether or not I have the ear bud on. then neither

If not mostly in my left ear, or if busy with left hand, right ear...

Joker might help if you make a slight change to the poll and say ear bud.

Those of us who have a mt car had better use ear buds...

I watched Mickey Mantle as a kid, so I became a switch-hitter. :D
Usually left, but switch to the right if a lefty pitcher comes in.

I hold the phone on my left ear most of time, don't really use my right ear.

well larch there is always a first time. I did put some thought in it - ever try to drive and shift with your phone in one ear or another - it just isn't going to work. :)

ergo earbud

Left ear, right handed. I think its just how the body is setup. I remember when I was first learning to ride a motor cycle, I could make left turns really well, but right turns felt really weird to me.

Neither.

I just mash the speaker phone button and talk that way. :D

You can keep it off, you know.

Larchmont, who keeps it off.

Actually.....I can't believe nobody has complained about it. When people ask for my cell #, I tell them that I don't like getting calls on it, I mostly just use it to MAKE calls -- I don't like getting interrupted, especially when I'm driving
I can't believe nobody yet has said, "What kinda crap is that???" :donno:

I don't like getting called either (means work for me), however if i want a job (phone is company paid) I keep it on 24 hrs a day. all my sites know the number

Mine is strictly for work as my company pays for it. My friends have it but they don't abuse it so it is not too bad. I like having it.

Oh I know that. But if I keep it off, then what's the point (yes, I know, calling out to people)?

Another reason is the fact I've never been able to find a decent cell phone plan. I want one that I can call Canada with, but most of those plans put it into the $75 range - not something I want to pay.

i agree before my company started paying it, i was on a 2000 min plan for 99 USD.

$100/month????

Cripes.

I'm looking more to the $50 or less plans. :)

johnej

Well it was less than 300 usd for overage on the minutes...

Ummm - $300????

Ummm - I'd probalby only use around 60 to 100 minutes a month. Probably just to call my parents every now and then. Or possibly call a few friends in the States.

johnej

yeah, I have a friend who had to pay 800 usd over the normal amount due to the minutes he went over. he did not get reembursed for it from the company either (waited to long according to the higher ups)

Good grief!!!

That's insane! I barely use my land line as it is. I don't even really use my office phone either.

He was stuck on an escalation that went on for a week. The cu did not give him a land line for the con calls, so he had to use his cell

We do field work for sun microsystems. He is an engineer that they stuck on the escalation (could have been me). Just the luck of the draw. he was there to hand hold the customer

Switching to either does not reduce or move the radiation emissions, just thought I'd let everyone know. Use a handsfree if you need to be on the cellular phone.
