I will keep my fingers crossed for TSX members
( I'm not sure whether this idiom is right or not due to my poor English :-) )

have a nice weekend.

It's fukn good!

Larchmont, who hopes Hacker won't use him as a linguistic role model. :D
And notices how Hacker took trouble to properly close the parentheses.

Hacker, you're doing just fine!

the style of closing parentheses is my habit on programming.
I will try to fix it..

I think you misunderstood me -- I did not mean that you did anything wrong!

Just the opposite -- you did it RIGHT!
The reason I mentioned it was that many people do not bother with it!

Sorry I misunderstood your comments..
Because of programming, I always focus on the parenthesis..

Thank larchmont.
If I have some mistakes to write or understand English...
Please let me know that.. I can also improve my poor English owing to your correction. I'm the person who like to listen someone's advice and correction.

Larchmont have a great day.

Howdy, Larchmont!

I've been very busy at work but I do drop in from time to time.

(BTW, is Tino Martinez really coming back to the Yankees?)

Goin' OT on an OT thread, eh?
Hope it's been good busy.
Yes, Tino's back.
His role is a matter of some controversy. Most Yankee fans think/assume it's to be "Giambi's back-up."
They're assuming Giambi will be able to still play worth a hoot, which is possible but unlikely.
And it's pretty obvious that the Yankee organization doesn't think it's likely Giambi will be able to play, but for obvious reasons they're being circumspect about it.
But not much. And most fans are deaf to it, plus in denial, plus impervious to what can be shown to be likely through evidence and analysis.

Kinda like how it was when you and that other guy put out your calculations on the size of the TL. :D

P.S. In all likelihood, Tino will be the regular.
Giambi may not even be on the team for long, if at all.

Yes, it's been good. I've been busy contributing to an interesting feature (http://www.sun.com/2004-0907/feature/) that is being released by my company.

Cool. I'm reminded of an article (http://www.northjersey.com/page.php?qstr=eXJpcnk3ZjczN2Y3dnFlZUVFeXkyNjgmZmdi ZWw3Zjd2cWVlRUV5eTY2MDIzNTEmeXJpcnk3ZjcxN2Y3dnFlZU VFeXk5) that came out just after the Yankees lost the ALCS:

How? Why? It's hard to believe the Tino Martinez, Paul O'Neill,-David Cone era Yankees would've lost this game, let alone four straight. But this is a new era, the A-Rod, Sheffield, Kevin Brown era, and Derek Jeter pointedly said, "This group just didn't get it done."

Cool -- a system that repairs itself!
Which is what the human body does (we hope).

I was at that game. I convinced myself that the Yankee loss didn't matter that much, because it wasn't close -- if that makes any sense. :D

This "might" make some people say I'm not much of a Yankee fan......I actually enjoyed watching the Sox fans celebrating in the Stadium after the game. For anyone who could detach themselves at all from "fandom" and be an open-minded observer, it was awesome. Firstly, in the latter innings, how the Sox fans came out of the woodwork -- they had been mostly invisible before, but they became more and more vocal -- I mean just in a cheering way. It seemed as though maybe a third of the stadium was Sox fans. And after the game, a lot of them did sort of "victory laps" around the stadium, in the aisle on the field level. I and some others were standing right behind that aisle, just marveling at it, nodding and smiling at them, taking some (mostly good-natured) trash talk, and smiling at that too. Some of the Sox fans, perhaps surprised that we would be this way, stopped to talk for a while. I know that many Yankee fans were just devastated, but I gotta say this was beautiful.

Larchmont, who feels the Yanks have won their share.
