When Bill Gates was testifying in the Microsoft trial, he was asked something about browsers or whatever, and he answered:
"What do you mean by browser?" :D
If he didn't know, then I sure as heck don't know!
Oh, OK.....Explorer most of the time. Sometimes Netscape.

I use both IE and Mozilla Firefox, but I am gradually phasing out IE as my primary browser....I can't wait since I made the switch to Firefox a month ago!

Not sure how they're able to use the IE engine, but there are others out there like Avant Browser. IMO, Maxthon is what IE should be - tabbed browsing, extensions, etc. There are a lot of nice features built into it. It's not perfect, but it's probably the best IE-based tabbed-browser out there. Worth checking out.

I downloaded Firefox yesterday and it rocks...I like the interface and it works just as well as IE. It's just nice to finally have an alternative to IE that's just as fast. I also like the "Open link in new tab" option. Makes searching much faster.

actually according to this recent in-depth speed comparison
FF is not that impressive as it reputed to be.
Browser Comparison (http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/browserSpeed.html)
FF does START a lot slower than IE, don't you find ? (and I believe it's because
what's pissing the competitors off - MS is the only one that is privy to the guts of Windows so IE is built the way it is)
But tabbed browsing + security + extensions (woohoo!) pwnes all the rest.
I just switched to Firefox, the program is pretty cool. I like the extensions and themes a lot, and the Tab Browsing... I don't know how I ever surfed the internet without it.
Anyway, I found an extension that allow you to change all of the network settings as stated in the previous post without manually going into the about:config setup.
http://www.bitstorm.org/extensions/
It works pretty good, its just a user friendly interface found under the tools menu to change the integer numbers.
