after having my TSX since Aug. i'm finally gonna start modifying it. my ques is has anyone used Tein suspension. i'm not sure what suspension i want to lower my car. i've got enough for the full out coilover kit, but don't think i need them for my daily driver. want to go w/ springs only to lower.

thx

Hi,
I'm actually having the same problem. I want to lower my car however, I 'm not sure whether to go with the tein springs or the eibach.
Anyone have any ideas? Also, do u think one will lower slightly more then the others. Only taking into consideration you are using eibach prokit or teins.
Any suggestions?

hey tsx2208, i've been doing more searches and i think i'm gonna go w/ the tanabe sustec coilovers. i saw pic of some guys on this forum and it looks sick.

i had a tanabe susptec pro suspension on my TEG back in the day. that suspension is nice. handled good and was stiff.

dude i'm mad confused though :banghead:

now i don't know if i wanna go the cheaper route and just get the Pro-kit like most people. if i went w/ the Pro-kit i'd save a few bucks and could get like in exhuast or some more records. i just wanna lower the car like 1.5" on the stock rims

If you are just gonna be using the car for daily driving, and just want a better look and better handling just get the springs and call it a day. Cause like you said u will have money left to buy other stuff. That's just my opinion.

Springs is the way to go. Thats wut i'm doing, H&R sport springs, Comptech cambers and do an alingment. It'll drop your car 1.3 in front, 1.2 in the rear.

my only concern w/ springs is that i don't wanna blow the shocks or anything like that.
but i've seen a lot of other people going the spring route and just doing fine. that makes me more secure in going w/ the springs

alright decided i'm going w/ the Tanabe DF210 springs. i really want those Gram Lights 57 Pro rims so i'm sacrificing the suspension for now.

here is what a TSX w/ those springs looks like

I was in the same boat as you and what springs to get. I did buy eibach sportline but never installed. Instead i sold them and got tein basic coilovers and hopefully will be installed this weekend. Will keep updated on that

Ok UPDATE!!

Installed my tein basics saturday. Install was straighforward. Ride quality is very nice. Rides much better then i expected, I thought it was gonna be alot stiffer but not at all very comfortable. I have the height set to about right on top of the tires. A lil bit lower more then i wanted but i am happy with the look I will post pics of it later. OVerall WORTH EVERY PENNY ON IT!!! highly recommended.
