born in PL. Spent exactly half my life in PL, spent the other half in US, So I guess I'm technically Polish-American. Although Polish-Americans are usually uneducated countryside ppl that were admitted into US because they had land property (farms) in PL. This has been going on probably since WWII. That's why there's so many stupid Polaks running around in the US. Since I was born and educated in the capital of PL, and then I had a good education in the States, I'd like to think of myself as one of the minority of the Polish community who is not just Polish-American. I prefer to stick with the "Polish" label, since that's where I was born. But you can call me a Polak. Despite common belief, this is not an offensive term. I love it down here. I've been here for almost 3 weeks now. You can't even compare how much better the roads are down here (in Raleigh at least). I've been to Durham, and it seems pretty boring. IMO, NY/NJ just has way too many people, way too many cars, terrible roads and signs, and you have to pay a toll wherever you go(but they never fix the roads with the money). That area is way overpriced for everything, ESPECIALLY homes and car insurance, and it stinks. Nothing like driving past Edison on the NJTP with the windows open! *gags*

Back in the day, I mean back in MY day...... :D ......in the New York area (and maybe basically in the whole continental U.S.), there was no such thing as "Hispanic," or at least no awareness of it.

The only Hispanic people we knew of were PUERTO RICAN. And it was the only phrase we knew for Hispanics. It was just "white," "black," and "PUERTO RICAN." Sometimes if someone wanted to get fancy they would add "American Indian" to the mix (that was before we started saying Native American). Don't ask me what about ASIANS -- there were indeed many Chinese and Japanese people, but for some reason they usually didn't even get MENTIONED when "we" talked about ethnic groups or colors. Don't ask me why.

My broker told me the 06 TSX blk on blk w/NAVI AT is sold out... only blk on tan, silver on blk and charcoal on blk are left... :( i was hoping to hv one by this weekend but it looks like i might wait for the 07s.

Im in talks with narci abt this .. haha... never had a blk car b4 so Im not sure if its worth maintaining.. or do i just put in the effort and take care of it.
