Hey all, my TSX is a month old and I was praying that rattles would not occur. Well, one day I was driving with the stereo off and started to hear rattles when I went over bumps in the passenger side. I started to listen carefully where the rattle noise was coming from and you know where it turns out to be? The seat belt buckle hitting the piller. So i just moved the buckle back into it's proper position and no more rattles.

One thing that does bug me is that whenever someone uses the seat belt, the buckle always faces the piller.

EXACT same thing i had this morning. altho i was quick to find it cuz my dad's old car did that too. used to drive me nuts when passengers got in the car and i always had to adjust the seatbelt when they got off.

That's the best kind of problem. Easy and cheap fix.

that was an easy fix :)

Though I hate it when passengers get out of the car quick and slam my door onto the buckle

I had already figured that one. It doesn't lay flat against and hits the pillar but I still have other rattles : (
: (

Congrats on fixing yours though

I have a slight rattle from behind center of the dash. Sounds like behind the radio or storage compartments in the center console. But that only happens when I'm standing at idle in gear. Once i start moving the rattles end, and if I shift to park, even at idle, there's no rattling, neither. Has anybody pinpointed something similar yet?

I have that exact rattle but it happens on rough roads or changing lanes when you hit the center thingies. It sucks!
