I locked my trunk release latch yesterday and now that I try to unlock it, it won't unlock. Does anybody else have this problem and know how to fix it? Thanks!

You mean you can't turn the key anymore? Or the key turns but the latch release doesn't work? If the key works, turn it back and forth few times, maybe something got stock. If the key doesn't work, try another key, or look inside the cyliner, maybe something got inside there. Try to clean the lock cylinder somehow, i.e.: vacuum, compressed air, WD-40, etc.

this probably has nothing to do with anything but in the glovebox theres a switch towards the left on the rear wall of the compartment. its a power switch for the trunk release. I think its for the remote trunk release though

Yeah, I know about that switch and it is turned on. I'm taking the car in tomorrow to have the dealership check it out. I will update when I can. Thanks anyways!

So just as I thought, the lock on the latch was broken or out of grease or something. They just replaced it and it works fine now!

It's not for remote trunk release. That switch in the glove compartment locks your ability to open the trunk by pushing the rubber pad switch underneath the trunk lid (above your license plate), so you can't manually open the trunk from the outside.
