so which means i have the kit installed kinda "aftermarket", there is a problem

when u go past 100km (i tested mine on the highway), u start to hear rattling noises from the side skirts, and its quite loud, u can still hear it with cd player on with volume set @ 12 :troutslap

mine was installed by a close friend of my buddy who owns a body shop, checked and said it was due to the screws used...he just used the original screws that was on the side panel

so i took it back yesterday to re-install with better and i guess longer screws.....so when i try to "shake" the side skirt manually....the difference was obvious..it was more "sticking" and sterdy

BUT, when i took it back on the highway, rattling noises still occur, but only when it got pass 120km.....so a 20km improvment asdfg ......

so then, again, my buddy and i took another look and find that it's the front end of the side skirts that's making the noise....

the bottom of the side skirt was really "deep" so that when the wind hits, it keep hitting against the undercarriage...

so we decide to put on a few additional screws to secure so that there won't be any more rattling noises....

anyone else having this problem?

are we going on the right track?

hey if you solve it please post how did you do it
cuz i don't understand what they talk about in that thread
but i think one guy just put some foam around the metal washer to prevent the metal hitting each other.

ok, my problem is solved

i took it back to my body shop, and he added some thick double-sided tape between the bottom part of the skirt and the metal part from the undercarriage.

so i did a quick sketch of what he did.....the blue square is the side bodykit. and the red squares are where he approximately put pieces of double sided tape

then i went on the highway and got close to 150-160km and there was absolutely no tapping..... problem solved!! :jump:
