New owner of the TSX

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and i would just like to say that i am picking up my brand new TSX on Nov 22nd, here is some info on what kind of a deal i was able to get:

42 month lease, $800 down, 3.9% apr, $350 a month, the only thing that kills me is the insurance which is $3600 a year in Brooklyn, NY.

my insurance is $2900 a year for 1 car without full coverage..

Wow, those rates are astronomical. Have any of you been in accidents, had many violations? Under 25 years? When I was under 25 my insurance was about $300 more - I still cannot believe those rates.

I dont mind paying insurance, but right now i am in a position of making two payments a month of same amount one for the car other for insurance, the funny thing is i have no tickets and no accidents, how fair is this...3600$ a year for insurance.
