Heated Seats

wsup guys,

im a new user here, after weeks of debating on what car i should get i decided to get a silver 05 Acura TSX. i just registered but you guys helped me a lot on my decision to get this car. THANKS!

but one thing,

has anyone else had a problem with there heated seats, i know its not even the time of year yet but my girlfriend tried using it and it would turn off after maybe 5 minutes of use.. anyone know whats going on??

I think it is suppose to do that cuz you don't wanna burn your a$$ :grinno:

it turns off automatically when it is heated enough ( i don't know what temperature) but when it gets cooled off , it turns on again and heats up your seat.

are you leaving the heater switch on "high"? That would be why they're cutting off.

Use "high" to warm them up quickly, then switch to "low" for a more continuous heat.

Don't forget to wash your hands before eating, and floss every day.

The way the TSX seats work, they'll heat up to a pre-determined temperature and then shut off in "high" mode, but if you let them heat up in "high" mode then switch them to "low" mode, they'll retain the desired temperature. Hope this helps you out!
