When i hit the defroster the air blows, but the front windows is
still fogged-up. It does no good and i have to open a windo or run
the windshield wipers. The dealer couldn't really run a test since it
is hot now.
Any ideas what might be the cause?

I am talking interior.
Something IS wrong as I know it worked before and is now ineffective.

You just said that you had to use the wipers so the fog was on the outside, not the inside.

Try turning on the A/C while you have the front defroster on.
The A/C on and ventilate cycle interior should fix the problem.
And the front doesn't have a defroster function like the rear. ;)

increase the temperature for the defroster. it may be because of the humidity outside.
this happened to me too.
i started my defroster to get rid of the fog on the windshield. the A/C was on, but the situation got really bad during 30min of driving. i too thought it was busted, but i then increased the defrost temperature to 27-28, and it all cleared up.
apparently, it was so humid outside that day that the A/C created more fog on the windshield, making the cabin way colder than the outside temp., which forced me to leave the wipers on while driving. when i parked the car and sat there for a bit, i can see all the condensation built up in the cabin.

I australia we always use the A/C with deforster to get it unfogged within seconds .. Its probably colder in most parts of the states than here but it works greatthat way here ... you can use it on heat aswell but it takes alot longer to work .. we usually use heat for once the car is going and we are on a trip
