Im digging it...I don't need a Si coupe being Im using it as a daily beater for work....when Im finally able to work. I think the new 06 Civic is a good little package. Just don't know if I should get the regular 1.8L EX or go for the Hybrid. The advantage for the Hybrid is I can drive on the HOV lanes by my lonely self if I wanted to. Its either 30/40 MPG on 87 or 50/50.

Just went to the Honda site - what's with the Civic getting aux-in as well????
It's got almost every feature the TSX has!
And we still don't have IMA!

Civic Hybrid...also gets CVT, climate control and side blinkers intergrated into the side mirrors ala TSX. But no moonroof or rear folding seats and only 15" rubbers. Man, close to 50 MPG sure sounds good.

Really? I don't see any great deals on the 05 CRVs. There are no incentives or rebates offered, just low interest rates. Invoice on a CRV EX is around 22K and thats about what they are selling them for. I don't need a mini SUV anyways.
For you guys with hockey equipments and future baby carriers...hint hint... is probably more useful.
Im mostly concerned with gas and being able to use HOV lanes.

Your right on the money Justin
With the S2000, there is NO room for anything, although my hockey gear does fit (made sure of that before I bought it). So the CRV would be the perfect all around mini suv for us, and it is very affordable.
But I also agree, the gas milage of the hybrid is very attractive
BTW, when you are ready to buy, I have a good buddy at Honda World who will take great care of you

Im dropping off my TL around Dec, so I probably won't do anything till end of Nov.
Thanks for the offer but Im sure I should be able to manage to get a deal somewhere. I work for a dealer group that owns 8 different dealerships including a Honda store, plus my career started at Honda HQ. Gots to get a corp hookup.

I am not a fan of the newer CR-Vs. The previous model CR-V design was much better and more smooth. Plus the 2nd gen CR-Vs have been quite problematic, though it has more power, but to me that doesn't matter.

I like the look of the new Civic Sedan... Could be a replacement for us if we decide to get rid of one of our cars. It's got that futuristic look to it :)

there are some spyshots of the new Canadian Acura CSX/EL is on vtec.net. The rear end of the CSX/EL looks like the JDM Civic's, which is better looking from the back than the NA version....looks more clean. As for the 8th gen Civics, I am not too impressed with the styling inside and out....especially the sedan and the dashboard. The Si coupe has potential though. I'll be test driving them at a Honda event later this month. I'll provide my feedback on these new Civics.
Any word that Acura bring the CSX/EL stateside? Its been sold in Canada since 1996.:donno:
