'Other' dash lights out

The lights for my sunroof control & VSA buttons does not work. I recently had my center console HU replaced - a coincidence. Is this a DIY fix or a dealer fix (don't want to spend 2 hrs. @ dealer if I can fix)? Anyone else have this problem?

I don't recall having seen anything like this -- you might be the unlucky first.
It's definitely not something that commonly happens as a result of that other fix, but I suppose it's possible there could be a relation.
Fortunately not the worst thing, but pain in the butt.
I'm not someone who can say if it's DIY, but I'd guess it's not.
I wouldn't want to spend 2 hrs at the dealer either -- and BTW when it's something like this which isn't common, I'd be afraid it might even be A LOT MORE than 2 hrs.
If it's not DIY, I think it's better to wait for the next time you have to bring it in for something else, unless you >really< need those lights to be working. (I wouldn't.)

Assuming it's not DIY, maybe if you call and tell them what you've got, you could feel out whether they seem to know >exactly< what to do and if it would be quick.
