This is funny, unless it happens to you.
It might be the oddest thing we've seen since the TSX that got attacked by peacocks.

An ostrich tried to mate with my wife's car once, but sadly enough, the photos didn't come out. :(

I am without a car for 2 weeks now; insurance is going down to the dealer on Monday the 26th of Sept. to inspect the damage. I contacted 2 Acura dealers around me. They told me that they have about 3-4 rodent chewed wiring or harnesses a month. But they never ask the customer to replace the whole complete harness. And it is always by the warm engine bay area where the knock sensor (I am not sure if I spell that right) is at. They never seen it by the fuel pump where is sealed, and the only way to get in and out is a ventilation tubing that’s curvy and less than an inch diameter. What a smart mouse! But nothing I can do to prove that the wires are cut by the dealer, to fake the damage to make money...

At this point, the dealer already messed up my complete interior side driver side panel when they forced the seat out of the car during the replacement of my seat rail under warranty. They also made a small dent and scratch, by the door grove where is not fixable other than some touch up paint. They are going to replace their mistakes for free, but want to charge me over $2500 to replace the whole complete main wiring harness from the dash to the fuel pump. Total bullcrap! But nothing I can do at this point, thank god my insurance covered comprehensive damage with a low deductible of $200.00.

I only had my car for 1 day the past 2 weeks to take my sound system out of the car. I have been paying out of pocket 25.00 + tax a day for a rental car, because the dealer for some reason does not provide courtesy vehicle nor a loaner. I am just glad my insurance will also reimburse my rental.

I contacted Acura HQ, a person named Bob got on the phone with me and told me “we can not accuse the dealer for doing any fraudulent activity. He didn't even want to work with me about all my other complaints, he pretty much told me there is nothing he can do, and I should call the Better business bureau."

I contacted the better business bureau, and I am going to file the complaints, but what are they gonna do? Probably not much…

All I know is this dealer will get away with what ever they are doing, and nothing will happen to them, and they will continue have customers..

By the way...
Acura of Riverside, CA. That would be the dealer.

What a nightmare! I miss my non-luxury Civic....
