i was just wondering if anyone knew of a place in south jersey that did the hondata reflash. thanks much

i was hoping the same thing... but i was told the only way to get a hondata is to send it your ecu chip and u get it back in a week... cant use car in that period... i cant do that so im out of a hondata for now... someone know of any other way?

On East coast you need to send the ecu/immobilizer and a key to Hondata in CA. And anyway, I'm not sure I would want just "anyone" reflashing my car's computer - Hondata are the ones who rewrote the coding and they personally probably should be the ones doing the reflash itself even if there was another option (which there isn't).

But, some happier news, I had the reflash done and I also had to send it back since the 5AT reflash was recalled.

Both times I sent it out Wednesday evening after work and both times it was back on Friday morning (or mid-morning). Just make sure to pay extra for FedEx priority overnight morning delivery and they guarantee by 10:30 AM.

So you can be "reasonably" sure that with any luck the car is only down for like 36 hours...
