this is why security guards patrol the area, i was stop the other weekend cuz my fog light bulbs didnt work and i was swapping out the ballast to check if it was a bulb or ballast problem.

he was making sure i wasn't just ripping apart someones car. I did leave the door and trunk open to let people know i at least own the car by signifying i opened the car without any physical signs of damage.

As stated the subject's vehicle appeared to have done a 06-08 tsx bumper converison. The vehicle most likely changed his or her rims to aftermarket ones. The car may not appear quite the same as the pictures provided.

It's unbelievable that someone would do that for a front lip, however I believe in karma.

I am sure if they saw this thread now, they would probably change the vinyl/painted roof. However, it was smart of you keep this to yourself for almost a month later. Hope everything works out.

+1 on if you can't afford to mod, don't go stealing other ppls.... especially if you have the money to buy a tsx in the first place, unless that's stolen too.

This was back in April so the person probably changed how their car looked by now. But looking at the pictures, here's what we can make out about the vehicle. I mean it's pretty distinctive when you look at the following.

- black roof overlay
- TSX Aspec rims
- Aspec badge in the lower right
- OEM Spoiler
- no tints in the window

The black roof overlay on it's own is pretty rare.

Edit: Not really looking to point fingers, but when I just remember a while back AspecKid posted a pic of his car, and his TSX looks pretty similar to the description above. Well before he swapped out the rims.

The cops should get a list of customers from Shinzo that had black overlay done on a PWP and further narrow down that list by 04-05 PWP.

There can't be that many in GTA.

Of course, the overlay could have been applied through another retailer but it seems like they have worked on most of them in the GTA.

Anyways. i live in vaughan and work around Simcoe and front st and last time i been to yorkdale was ages ago. i dont have time and money to waste at malls, and thats the reason why i dont have any use to go there, and why the **** would i want to steal a measly front lip. i make good enough money rather than having to go steal somebody elses goods. I have too much too lose in life. PLEASE, dont go around saying i stole lip from your car dude. i did conversion from 05-06 because it looks better but i had my lip trying to sell for a long time now because i want the jdm front lip so dont even start this shit. i met some dudes at Speedstar looking at my car and saying thats his lip but it wasnt or else he/they wouldve done something. there was 3 asians dudes. my girl was crying and i was pretty upset at the whole situation, Frank and the other guy who works there could obviously see it, and also noticed my girl crying. anyways i explained to the 3 asian guys outside Speedstar that i had boughten the A-Spec front end (made sure it was the A-Spec front end, and he says it was) complete from my buddy and we had met up with in mississauga, and i dont think he believed me. so i hope this clarifies the situation and from looking at the pics, that tsx looks lowered?

anyways hope this clears my name from being brought up. look at the dates since you say sometime around late April...I remember i was looking to sell my oem front lip around the beginning of april, not only that, but almost all of my buddys/co-workers who i see frequently and see my car frequently know my car and know when i converted the front end, which was around end of march when weather was getting nicer, thus, being the reason why i kept my 05 front end on. i bought my front end around February and has been sitting in my moms garage up until i had it installed. here is the link of me trying to sell it on toronto.kijiji: i also think i was trying to sell it on tsxclub, but lemme double check that.

anyways i just got back from work, tired, hungry, aching back/muscles but all i can say is that i didnt touch your lip, dont know wtf your car looks like, never seen you nor your car before (except for the Speedstar drama). i work, make an honest living, have a baby to take car of and dont need to get caught up in some drama bullshit dude. so hope you find the guy who took your lip because i certainly dont respect the fact that you and your "boys" are pointing the finger at me. i make almost $24.68/hr + 10% va. pay, come home with $800-$1100 cheques per week (depending on weather), + my wife's salary, FULL benefits, almost $20,000 in bank, visa's, line of credit for $10,000, baby girl, tsx payed off, baller wheels lol, Tein SS coming in, i could keep going on on how good i have it, so no use for me to wreck everything. so honestly dude, i hope you see you have the wrong guy man. Aspec kid, I don't think spoon was trying to call you out or anything, just trying to be helpful and suggest the culprit could have potentially been a member. Noone is pointing the finger at anyone here because even the OP isn't dead on for certain who took it. He has an idea, but not positively. The photos aren't that conclusive, save for the black roof overlay.

Spoon could have been a bit more tactful and not specifically used a members pictures to suggest that the member took it though.

But we're all members here trying to look out for one another.

Yorkdale Mall is gay, I've heard more than 10 stories now on TSX/RSX/S2K being stolen there.

From the picture of the camera, it looks like the guy has the double-spoke A-Spec rims, A-Spec spoiler, black roof, and possibly A-Spec rear lip (not clear on that).

May I/others know who are you suspecting?

I think it's a bad idea to post pictures and to point fingers publicly unless people are 100% certain...

It's s**tty but people are innocent until proven otherwise i think..
