Hey guys,

Just wanted to say hi and put up a post on the site because I just found it. I was reading through it and it seems that you guys have a great community. I was trolling a bit through the site and noticed the whole a-spec kid drama. Horrible how people have no respect for other peoples property. I myself have been a victim to a few thief's, and it is still currently a problem where I live. Just my old Integra I've had my wheels stolen, broken windows, from right out of my driveway, to the whole car being stolen at Scarborough Town Centre. I live in Brampton and still people are breaking windows out of driveways for just quick smash and grab jobs. Cops don't seem to care because its so hard to prove and i'm sure they get paid the same anyway.

Anyway I drive a 2005 Blue TSX Nav Type-S I bought it used last year fully loaded with alloy rims and a spoiler. Everything is pretty good with the car. Bought it off a crummy car salesmen but in the end I was happy with my purchase. I had a few questions about my vehicle hoping some of you experts can help me out

- The Type-S Badge....now I've looked on the internet and I can't find a Type-S badge..now its a original badge and it is on the back right side, right beside the TSX emblem. Is there different specifications for a type-s or do you think the previous owner just put the badge on there for no apparent reason. The blue is the Type-S blue tho. I saw another tsx that looks almost identical to mine besides the colour and it was an aspec. I believe that one had Side Skirts though.

- My Nav system, Must be from 2005. I was wondering if anyone has updated the cd in the DVD player in the back. Is there a site that I can download and copy up a update? Or do I have to go to the dealership and buy another DVD. Just a question because it is now 2009 and some new roads are just not on my map. If anyone did buy a DVD do you remember the cost?

- Has anyone been able to fix the clicking clutch problem? I've read a bit about it on other sites and I was just wondering if any other owners are having the same problem. Is there a fix? It doesn't bother me too much anymore, and sometimes I don't even notice it...but if there was a way to fix it i'd gladly get it done.

- are there any other places to get good touch up paint for cars besides the dealerships or crappy tire?

Hope to hear from you guys soon.

Congradulations on this great community I hope to read more of the forums and the TSXClub in Toronto keeps growing.

Unfortunately, North America doesn't get the Type-S. The one you have the previous owner put it on.

Anyways welcome to the board.

Welcome to the club.

Yeah, there was no Type-S available in North America.

With regards to Navi, you have to get a new disk to update the roads. They come out with a new update every couple of years. You can get them from Acura or look for a used one on eBay.

it's not bad to have that emblem lol... it's like how most of the members convert their badges from TSX to EuroR's
