Japan Richmond TSX pls come in

My brake pads are like 30% left front & rear, so I decide to replace all 4 brake pads.

Stealership quoted $480 plus for all 4 brake pads replace. Most of the time when it comes to the final bill, they always find an excuse to charge us extra. For 4 factory pads installed by Acura mechanic, its gonna be a $5xx.xx bill

Then my friend recommends me to go to a private shop in rmd, got all 4 brake pads replaced by project u, made in japan. Cost less than oem pads, brakes better than oem.[IMG][/IMG]

If any of u guys wants this private shop, pm me. I want to advertise for this good mechanic

pm'ed.

Not sure if anyone would read teh bill carefully, but I am now looking at my dealership invoices.........those mofo charged me
$4.44 for washer.plug
$4.88 for environment fee
$9.37 for shop supply

I guess private shops still rip, but they don't rip that much compare to stealership

goodluck

Sorry Inwu, I recently purchased and installed a new set of swift springs from that shop. And the owner of the shop gave me a very bad attitude because I went back to him and demand a noise fix at the rear suspension. He said to me that I am blocking him for receiving new business. I asked him if there's any misunderstanding. He seems bad temper and won't listen. But eventually, he still tried his best to fix it. Now the clunking noise is almost all gone.

To be honest, his craftmanship is great & his car knowledge is very well. However, this time I go back and asked for a clunking noise fix. He got mad on me, say that I demand too much, and he doesn't want to explain to me over & over again because I know nothing about cars.

I want to point out that his shop is pretty far from my home. Why would I want to waste gasoline to drive miles to his shop? Why would I want to waste my time? I'm no childish kids who has lots of time. The truth was that - there was a clunking noise right after the installation. I have no choice but go back & ask him. Now, after the fix, the noise level is reduced by 90%.

There are still some other details of the long story, I don't want to say too much in the public. I mean, hurting other people's business doesn't yield any benefits to me.

Anyways, I won't expose his shop's name, and I am not going to recommend any members in here to go there anymore neither.

period
