Here is some important information on Stoptech’s BBK’s from www.stoptech.com:

Big Brake Kits give your vehicle that Supercar look and feel, and exceed stock performance in two areas. First, larger rotors increase heat capacity. Second, stiffer calipers and stainless steel lines reduce system compliance.

The key, however, is to increase heat capacity and reduce compliance without upsetting the stock front to rear brake torque ratio. If the brake upgrade you select adds too much front torque (as many do), you reduce your car's ability to utilize the tractive capacity of all of the tires to the maximum practical extent (even on ABS equipped cars) and you therefore create performance sacrifices. In addition, too many pistons or pistons that are too large will make the brake pedal much more difficult to modulate, which limits a driver's control of brake input on the race track.

Hot damn! These would look great behind my new 19" RonJon Legends!

Since the front rotor diameter is the same as the 1st gen (we know the 2nd gen has larger rear rotors) has it been determined yet whether or not this is exactly the same? Is the caliper in the same location and the mounting hardware the same? Because then we would know whether or not other kits like the Rotora kit are compatible.

I bought a set for a little less than that price from Josh for my TL. Solid product, best upgrade you can get for the brakes. The stopping power is incredible. Darren, if you get them, make sure you apply some sort of anti-squeal product or else it's going to squeal like a bat out of hell.

STOPTECH told me you can use the same template as the 04-08 TSX so I'm assuming at least the dimensions are the same.
