Question No more signatures in posts
I hate being a part of websites where there sig takes up half the page. I am a member of NASIOC and they are one of the sites that do not allow sigs and its great not having to read all about peoples lives and brag about there cars. I love my car but I don't feel the need to post every single mod I have done to it. Its like a contest to see who has the biggest balls or the most money.

Mods can't we get rid of signatures.

I agree some signatures are way too long and some about random stuff.

There should be a limit to how big and long the sig can be. Just don't take it away.

I think we should be allowed to keep it but definitely limit the size of them as I've seen a song and ridiculously large pics that take up half the page which is annoying and ridiculous at times.

I think there is a limit of how long a sig can be. Just I think the mods have to see and catch it first. Not sure.

We are paying attention to signatures and whenever we notice outrageous size we PM the member and remove the large pictures. We also encourage NOT to insert a sig in every post if the sig is relatively busy, taking away from the flow of the thread. But I don't think we'll limit all sigs any time soon. We're hoping that members interactions will influence the proper balance, and the few excessive exceptions we take care of individually.

Basically, we ask everyone to exercise common sense. Below every Quick Reply and Advanced Reply area there's a checkbox for adding/removing sig from the new post. Showing your sig once in each page of a thread should really be plenty so it doesn't take away from the thread flow. However, we have no way to enforce that, so we can only rely on you - our members. This forum is for you. What you make of it, is what it becomes. We can only handle the excessive actions of marginal individuals.

Keep the sigs. Its useful for those who list their mods and people wondering who has them. Gives good ideas to people too.

Doesn't bother me at all. Unless you only look at this site through a dinky screen it doesn't make a difference.
