Anyone know if you have to use high temp paint for he plastic cover? i'm afraid that it will start melting off due to heat?

aside from the custom sticker, the cover itself almost seems a different color.
not as jet black as the others with the white sticker.

the feels strut bars pictured are probably all the type one carbons.
one of them might not be carbon, but all are the type one.

can't tell for sure, but I'm pretty sure that's what they are.
both the type 2 and the carbon power rod have that weird shape to them.
the type one is the straight across one.

I painted my intake manifold and sparkplug cover almost a year ago now and they look as good as the day I did them. I used Krylon's X-Metals line of paints. From memory, I think they are a high-heat application.
