I had to buy a metal rod then had to place it in betwee that H shaped tow hook. Then threaded a bolt through the hollow rod. Its a it of work but still worth it. Hope this helps you out. Sorry for the late reply. I rarely come on this site anymore. Let me know if u need more info.
I got the Tein S-tech springs, and I emailed Tein directly to ask about aftermarket springs working with stock shocks/struts. It had mentioned on their website that the springs were specifically designed to work with OEM suspension, but here is what they emailed me back.
Thank you for your interest in TEIN High Performance Suspension products. Our S.Tech lowering springs utilize spring rates specially selected to match the valving of the OEM dampers, and when properly installed and maintained should not adversely affect the life of the shocks. Typically, accelerated damper wear can be caused by springs that are too aggressive or too soft for the design of the dampers. The S.Tech spring kit would not require any additional components for installation or use, although we recommend having an alignment check performed on the vehicle after installation of the components. We also offer an array of full coilover kits for those seeking a ride height adjustable coilover package that would include both the dampers and springs. I guess it depends on the spring rates of the company you are buying from. There is a bit of a camber (i think that is what it is called) with my rear wheels. You can see that it is inverted inwards a little more. But so far, I have not noticed that the treads are wearing out faster. You will definitely feel the difference. My girlfriend has not complained at all about the ride, only about how she thinks i'm wasting money on the car. hahaah. I may decide to get a rear camber kit in the future though, depending on how my next alignment turns out. what kind of springs are u getting? i'm definitely very happy with the lowering. If I had a few more hundred dollars, I might have gone coilovers instead though.
Hey from Sarasota FL. I just bought a white pearl '08 TSX Navi in April. Curious on 2 things; Did you put the Honda & EuroR badges on yourself or is the car some killer grey-market TSX from Japan? Also; my car has an insane shine; I use Maguiars Deep Crystal Polish system (step 2 only) then Magiuars Tech 2.o wax. New to the TSX Club & would appreciate any feedback-
