  1. Changed valve cover set + paint

    1st Gen - Engine, ...
Thank y'all. I used VHT gloss, but after a thicker base coat, sprayed it "dry" to give it some texture. Then I baked it.

Needed to change my valve cover gasket and grommets, and decided to paint the valve cover and front half of intake manifold. 2007 Base auto, 181,007 Enjoy.
  3. 07 Factory muffler inside pics

    1st Gen - Engine, ...
The tops of the images are the inlet sides of the muffler. Both left and right sides were identical.

Just gutted. Flush cut inlet and outlet inside. No pipe joining.
  5. 07 Factory muffler inside pics

    1st Gen - Engine, ...
I wanted to see how my 07 would sound with the "guts" removed from the factory mufflers, so I cut the tops open, and went at it. It's not much louder it seems, but has a bit of "throat" to it now. Here's what the inside of our mufflers look like. Enjoy.
  6. Overhead Blue LED Aimed wrong?

1st Gen - Problems and Fixes
Mine points down, too. Most of the illumination is focused on the gear selector.
  7. The (apparently) dreaded VSA

1st Gen - Problems and Fixes
I have done what you listed above. Twice now. To no avail. The /!\ light is still on, and th VSA still comes on. I have not done this since the new tires, however. About to do it again.
  8. The (apparently) dreaded VSA

1st Gen - Problems and Fixes
After driving briefly, the VSA light comes on. The /!\ light is on at all times, but never the ABS light.
  9. The (apparently) dreaded VSA

1st Gen - Problems and Fixes
My ABS light never comes on except for a few seconds right after the key is turned to position 2, then goes off.
  10. The (apparently) dreaded VSA

1st Gen - Problems and Fixes
Tires were not the issue. Got 4 new ones yesterday.
  11. OEM domelight/maplight issue

1st Gen - Problems and Fixes
I had the same problem in my 07. Took the switch out and apart, to no avail. Went to a junk yard and got two switches, replaced the drivers side one, and it works perfect. Now I have a spare, as well. Also, I got the lenses too, because it's always good to have spares.
  12. The (apparently) dreaded VSA

1st Gen - Problems and Fixes
Thank y'all. Good to know. All 4 tires are same size, but whoever had the car before me put two different makes on the car. Perhaps I'll start there.

1st Gen - Problems and Fixes

  14. The (apparently) dreaded VSA

1st Gen - Problems and Fixes
That's the exact video of went off of to attempt to clear the lights.
  15. The (apparently) dreaded VSA

1st Gen - Problems and Fixes
TSXXXX I don't think it's an issue with the hub/bearing assembly, but as far as the sensor is concerned, it bolts in to the (forget the name) main receiver where the hub bolts to. The only thing left I think I can do, which you kind of hinted on, is to ohm out the car harness wires from the...
  16. The (apparently) dreaded VSA

1st Gen - Problems and Fixes
The rear is the whole hub assembly. It's a complete unit that gets bolted onto the car only one way.
  17. New here. 07 TSX

    Member Intro
Hey y'all. New here. This is my first TSX, but I've owned and driven Honda's almost my whole life. Always loved the style of the first gens. Mine is an 07 auto base, and aside from the drilled and slotted rotors, and semi-ceramic pads I just installed, is 100% stock.
