What Bbk caliper did you use for the rear?
What Bbk caliper did you use for the rear?I used the Fastbrakes rear bracket and if I recall a 12.3" MDX rotor.
Man can you give more details what year chasis calipers, what rotors, center rings etc...Everything installed perfectly, trimmed the dust shield. Bought Fast brakes ring kit to center the rotors perfectly, apparently some people have installed this bbk without it but i wanted to do it right the first time. Installed SS Stainless Brake Lines Front & Rear. The Pedal feel is close/better to stock not mushy like from what I heard with the RL BBK setup.
Its installed on a 2006 TSX but should work for any CL9/CL7, everything is listed in the first page of this threadMan can you give more details what year chasis calipers, what rotors, center rings etc...
I understand that it will fit. But might you can share the direct part numbers of the rotor and few photos of how it was installed, and how you trimmed your dust shield. Remove the wheel and make several photosIts installed on a 2006 TSX but should work for any CL9/CL7, everything is listed in the first page of this thread
Sorry man this thread wasnt meant to be a DIY, didnt take much photos at all since it was direct bolt-on, if you can take out your caliper and rotor you should be able to bolt the new setup the same way. There are threads here and Facebook TSX Groups that outline exactly what is neededI understand that it will fit. But might you can share the direct part numbers of the rotor and few photos of how it was installed, and how you trimmed your dust shield. This is all very basic stuff than can be found very quickly if you just search. Don't ask us to spoonfeed you. Take pride in your research.I understand that it will fit. What size is the shim ring? I can’t find anything on fastbrakes websiteThanks for the reply TSXXXX, apparently Fastbrakes supplies a shim to center the rotor into the hub, I will have to contact them for that info.
Oh i guess i missed the first part of the question regarding the open ended lug nuts, if I extended the wheel studs in the front would i still be able to use the aftermarket lug nuts on my tsx right now or do i have to purchase a open ended lug?
Not sure on the size , you have to message them on FB or the website. What size is the shim ring? I can’t find anything on fastbrakes website
ThanksSup TSXClub,
Since there have been a couple of people fitting in Genesis Brembo Calipers w/ 14-17 Nissan Rogue 3rd Row Rotors on our 1st Gen TSX, I thought id give it a try since it doesn't require any brackets to install.
I am no expert when it comes to Hub center bores and Hub rings, but since our 04-08 TSX Center bore is 64.1mm and the 14-17 Nissan Rogue Rotor Center bore is 68.1mm (I believe), are there any Hub Rings that are specifically made for Hub to Rotor to center it? I know I needed it for my Enkei Nt03s or any aftermarket wheels but I have never heard of a Hub Ring being fitted for the Hub to Rotor.
Now for the next question. Since my Enkei Nt03s 9.5" +40 has a Hub of 72.62mm do I have to buy new Hub Rings to be fitted from the Nissan Rogues center bore or do I still use the same one provided to me when I installed the rims to my TSX? Or am I out to lunch and overthinking everything LOL!
Im pretty sure I will need some spacers to clear this BBK, probably 5-10mm, do I buy spacers with a Hub Rings Centers on it? Can I use my aftermarket Wheel Lug Nuts previously used or do I have to buy a new set of Open Ended Lug Nuts?
Im planning to do this all in my garage and would like to have everything so I can tackle it all in one go. Thanks in advance for your input!
So what brake pads are being used? Brembo brake pads or the nissan rouge? Thanks

Brake pads are from Genesis Brembos. Only item from the nissan rouge are the rotorsSo what brake pads are being used? Brembo brake pads or the nissan rouge?
So you’re saying that stock Evo wheels work with this brake setup on our cars?Im having this problem as well. I looked into the Fast Wheels Dimes which are pretty similar to the Avids that you posted, but haven't had a clear response. All i know since Mitsubishi Evo 8/9 BBS and Evo X GSR wheels fit the Genesis Brembos without a spacer on our TSX, is to look for wheels that fit those cars. I am running Nt03s 9.5 +40 and I have to run a 1" spacer in the front which is really killing my tires really fast.
Yeah Evo wheels work a couple guys on the TSXClub group on Facebook have run them, and they look pretty good on our cars. Im not too sure of the distance i can probably check it out once i do some maintenance on itSo you’re saying that stock Evo wheels work with this brake setup on our cars?
Also, are the wheels you mentioned above the ones in the pic from previous post? Either way, I have a question for you. I’m curious to know how much horizontal clearance you have between the spokes of your wheel and the caliper. Maybe with that info I can get an idea of wheel spacing and get a perfect fitting wheel the first time.
I’m going to make a complete build thread with details like these included when I finally finish/get close to finished with this brake upgrade.
