Issue 1 :
First off, I will have video soon. Forgot about it, but I was to get some insight in the mean time.
The sound is coming from the top end, or to the best that I can tell. You can only really hear it once the engine warms up.
At first I thought it was the valve lash needing to be adjusted. Had that done today and didn't go away.
The mechanic that did the adjustment said it was probably just the injectors pinging when they inject fuel. Not sure.
Either way, there seems to be a shaking that is accompanied by the sound. Nothing violent, but enough that I can notice. The other Honda's that I've owned never shook like this one.
Anyone else have experience with this?
Issue 2 :
Basically, when stopped and going into first, when I pump the clutch a few times the shifter slides in like a warm knife through butter. If I pull the shifter out and put it back into gear a few times it gets progressively tighter and more difficult to put into gear. Almost like it's catching. It's not so bad that it won't go into gear, just irritating. Any ideas to fix it?
Again, video coming.
Thanks in advance.
