Is this possible I heard someone had to do modifying, but couldn't find it. Anyone have any insight? Appreciate all the advice, would love to put the flaps on the car.
It would be possible, but would require some modifying. It won't mount up to the original holes because the A-Spec side skirts hang lower than the stock. I could be wrong though.
I've seen 06-08 rear flaps mounted on the A-Spec rear (and the owner said it took no modifications).
Well is there any difference between the 06-08 and the 04-05?
I'm skeptical to even buying the flaps cause that's $100 wasted if it is too much work for it.
If you have the 04/05 A-Spec side skirts and rear lip, the mud flaps would not fit. The 04/05 A-Spec sides and rear flare out compared to stock. The 06+ A-Spec sides are ok because they don't flare out where the mud flap mounts.
Yes, that's what I'm saying. Also, if you're lowered, you probably wouldn't want mud flaps anyway, because they could scrape against speedbumps and damage the paint on your side skirts or rear lip.
No problem. Even for guys who aren't lowered, I always recommend taking mud flaps off because they tend to damage the paint on the car. When I took mine off to install my side skirts, I found a permanent ouline of the flaps on my front fenders.
Well I'm gonna go lower with Buddy Club N+, but not more than a finger of wheel gap. I can't take off my fender wall or Acura will void my warranty and I also have a CAI so I don't want water where it shouldn't be.
