I have been wanting to do more modifications to my 04 TSX and most of what i would like to do ( throttle body, injectors, camshaft, etc.) require a tune or at least strongly recommended one.


So from the research i have done i found that the 04-05 TSX’s are very difficult to tune with the stock ecu. The Hondata Flash Pro says it can be tuned with a 07-08 ecu. Would i be able to put in a 07 or 08 ecu into my 04 and tune it right from there, or is there other complications?

Correct. You’ll need a tune, for sure. And 04-05 models are incapable of tuning. I’m going through the same sh** now. I dropped stage 1 cams into my 05 and now runs lean and slow. I have a Hondata tuner, throttle body, 550cc injectors standing by. Waiting for my intake manifold to arrive in the mail. Will be purchasing an 07-08 TSX ECU to program...

We can do all kind of N/A tuning on Honda and Acura. We cracked there original ecu, so we have access to almost all important maps for custom tuning. We did over 1000 of Cl9, CL7 etc... so any kind of tuning on stock ecu we can do. We are based in Europe, so any E-tuning is available, dyno or road tune

We can change:

• injector dead times
• custom DBW maps
• low and high fuel and ignition maps
• low and high VTC maps
• custom VTEC point
• rev limit
• vtec modified by pressure
• we can implant 50° vtc
• pop and bangs
• hardcut rev limit
• immo off for swap
• automatic gearbox reflash

etc. etc. etc.

And all that on stock ecu, without hondata, ktuner etc.
