i have actually noticed this noise too. it is a rather loud click for me (I can hear it with my windows up - i am in a garage though). i recently changed all fluids as part of a 100k mile maintenance, and it still makes this sound.
06 5AT transmission question
Hello all,
I was just curious if this was a normal occurrence or should i change the transmission fluid? Any suggestions would be great. I did a search too but nothing. I have brakes firmly pressed and shifting from Park to Reverse or Drive. When it initiates the command it makes a slighty low click noise. I am assuming its a from solenoid or something? It wasnt doing this when i first had the vehicle. i went to the local dealership to see what the problem was and they said that it was normal but I would like a second opinion. let me know folks!
