06+ cam in 04 with ECU reflash?

Hey everyone, i have an 04 6MT that im having reflashed by reflash club (kflash nz). I will provide a screenshot of what the reflash entails. Im wondering if its safe to just drop in an 06-08 TSX intake cam into my 04 with the reflash. Not sure but I dont want it to damage my head or valves.

Any insight about this would be greatly appreciated!

god bless,
Saad

If your 2004 engine is tired and has a lot of miles, "dropping" in a 2006 intake cam is not recommended.

The timing chains and guides will be worn and should be changed plus a ton of of other stuff.
What shape is your 2004 engine in? Compression test? Oil usage?

What's the power goal? Upgrading the intake manifold and exhaust manifold/headers also?

It has 160k miles, was taken care of well by a Honda mechanic. Its my daily driver I just would like some more pep no exact power goals. It doesnt burn oil like a lot of older engines, and it hasnt seen north of 4500 rpm most of its life. I have a cone filter on the OEM intake tubing mostly stock. Just looking for some mild hp improvements with the reflash and cams. A better VTEC crossover with a little bit more duration as well.
