I am selling my 2001 M3 convertible manual 6-speed in Jet Black over black leather and black top. It is completely stock besides a short throw that I put in. It shifts great and runs great. I have completed the inspection 2 and all fluids on the car have been replaced. The paint is in good shape as I do detail cars on the side. It has been garaged and covered its whole life while I have had it. I am the third owner and it has been a Florida car its whole life (no road salt). It runs great and the only reason that I am selling it is because I am going to buying a house and there is no way I can justify having this garage queen when I can put it towards a down payment. I have all receipts for everything done and I did the valve adjustment myself so I have the Excel document with what shims I changed. The top works great and it was Raggtopped so if it did rain (I got caught in the rain maybe three or four times) the water would beat off the top. It also protected the top against the Florida sun and it looks great.
Some of the bad:
There are some small scratches in the paint (I will get some pictures later today or tomorrow)
There is a tear in the interior of the headliner. This does not affect the outside at all and no water gets into the car at all. Its just a little bit loud. I did get quoted on getting it replaced but I never drive with the top up so it was never a priority for me.
It only has one key.
It was a great car for me that was never raced, tracked or abused. I would use it to get groceries on the weekends or to go to the beach. I live in Rockledge, FL and can pick someone up at the Orlando airport if someone would want to fly down. I have a free and clear title and a clean Carfax!
