I purchased my TSX a year ago for just about 10 grand through a dealership (obviously going to be more expensive than a private sale). I recently have thought of upgrading to a TL or maybe trying a new brand, maybe a G35. I went on KBB to check the value of my car and under the excellent condition category the car is worth 7 grand. Now my car is an 04 with just about 111k. It is up to date on all of it's maintenance with practically brand new tires. Now it's condition probably falls under the very good category. It is the Satin Silver Metallic exterior with the ebony interior. I am always getting compliments on my car from people telling me it looks brand new, so I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on what I could possibly get for it if I do decide to sell it.

If your going for a TL 04-06 AT be careful. Transmission issues.

I'm actually searching for a TSX right now, but I'm staying away from 04' because the A/C compressor issues. (More so in the 04s') I have looked into G35 but they are a little eh to me and don't get very good MPG.

The 04's that I've been seeing go from 6-7500.

I feel that no car is in excellent condition, you can check your local area on CL and see what other people are trying to sale them for.

Yeah I know about the transmission problems with those TL's which is why I would prefer a 2007+ but I would probably just have to wait because of how much they cost. I wanted a G35 originally but went with the TSX mainly because of gas mileage. In my area people are listing their TSXs for around 5-6 thousand which seems a little cheap to me.

I say start High and just now what's the lowest you will take.

Also depends where you live. I know in the Bay Area, if it's a manual you can get close to what you paid. If it's truly that clean, post it up for 10 and see what happens.

The only thing that is keeping me from selling my TSX right now is the gas mileage. The third generation TL doesn't come close to what I'm averaging right now.

You do realize A/C bombs are common issues on all TSX's and any other Honda product that uses the same brand compressor right?
