My nav went out so I installed new rom and it worked for awhile but glitching again. I want to replace it with a double or single dim that has the ac control. There are so many to choice from so I thought I would ask here first. Who makes the better all around system?
Looking for plug and play but not break the bank. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you

Not too familiar with the overall shape of the dash in the 1st gen, but I don't think there will be anything "plug and play". You'll probably need an adapter kit, like this:

Then you find the head unit you want. Most of my aftermarket ones have been either Pioneer or Kenwood.

For that price you can get nice android radio from AliExpress. I get one for my Corolla 2005 few years ago (for 80$) and I want to say that it is really worth it to install!

Well, that cost is 410$ (plus tax), ALI has a better choice and price for sure. People buying from china and re-sell in US for more price lol =)

True that, I missed the other link.. Definitely a better deal. Plus your post actually comes with true wireless android auto.. But the default selection on the page is set on the frame and not the stereo so be make sure you choose the right options. Only T3 and T4 come with wireless android auto aka the 4g or 6g.
